Functional MRI techniques are being developed to study the tumour microenvironment in patients with breast cancer. These techniques are being tested in order to develop robust measures that can be used in adaptive trial design for patients with breast cancer.
Various sequences are being used and these include Dynamic contrast enhanced Vibrant TRICKS, Diffusion Weighted Imaging, Magnetization Transfer, Blood Oxygenation Level Dependent imaging.
