Dr Jamie Mackay was awarded an ‘Outstanding Teacher Award’ by the ISMRM for his talk ‘Physiology of Joint Tissues in Osteoarthritis’ at the Joint Annual Meeting ISMRM-ESMRMB held June 2018 in Paris. The ‘Outstanding Teacher Award’ is given to the talk with the highest rating by the audience during the conference for each area, in this case the musculoskeletal category.

‘It is my great pleasure to inform you that your invited talk, “Physiology of Joint Tissues in Osteoarthritis,” in the Musculoskeletal category of the Joint Annual Meeting ISMRM-ESMRMB 2018 in Paris, France, received the highest quality scores of any talk in the Monday –Thursday category. Our society recognizes this achievement with a 2018 “Outstanding Teacher Award.” This selection is based on the course evaluations provided by participants, and, as the standards for all ISMRM courses were set high, it is a significant accomplishment.’
