CRUK Cambridge Centre Imaging Programme Manager
Elisabeth has a Master’s degree in Information Technology with Medical Physics, and a Durham Physics degree.
Her career has been split between medical physics, hospital computing and programme management. She spent 7 years in medical physics and 10 as Head of IT at the James Paget Hospital. She was part of the management team for the award-winning eHospital programme at CUH and worked for two years at Great Ormond Street hospital. She has worked in the commercial sector at Cambridge Consultants and Intersystems.
She is currently working between the Department of Radiology and the CRUK Cambridge Institute, with the Sala, Gallagher and Brindle groups, as a programme manager for the CRUK Cambridge Centre Advanced Cancer Imaging programme. Working in a job share with Kelly Holmes, she is setting up and coordinating the work for clinical research trials with the aim of developing novel imaging techniques in patients with cancer to identify response to therapy.
