CRUK Cambridge Centre Imaging Programme Manager
Elisabeth has a Master’s degree in Information Technology with Medical Physics, and a Durham Physics degree.
Her career has been split between medical physics, hospital computing and programme management. She spent 7 years in medical physics and 10 as Head of IT at the James Paget Hospital. She was part of the management team for the award-winning eHospital programme at CUH and worked for two years at Great Ormond Street hospital. She has worked in the commercial sector at Cambridge Consultants and Intersystems.
She is currently working as a programme manager for the CRUK Cambridge Centre Advanced Cancer Imaging programme, reporting to the programme leads Kevin Brindle and Luigi Aloj, and working with the Gallagher group in the Department of Radiology. In a job share with Claire King, she is project managing clinical research trials with the aim of developing novel imaging techniques in patients with cancer to identify response to therapy.
