Tanvi joined the Department of Radiology in October 2021 as a PhD student within the Radiogenomics and Quantitative Imaging Group. Her supervisors are Prof. Evis Sala and Dr. Matthew Hoare.
As an undergraduate studying Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech, Tanvi’s professional internships and research focused on minimally invasive device design for radiology procedures and bioinformatics. In her post-graduate work as a consultant, she focused on digital transformation and strategic impact creation in healthcare innovation. Tanvi is passionate about applying medical image analysis to improve access to care and reduce the resource burden on health professionals by creating tools that enhance diagnostics, enable remote assessment, and improve precision care. Her research within the RQI group focuses on Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC), an underfunded yet deadly cancer.
Tanvi’s studies are funded by the Gates Cambridge Trust.
