Fulvio obtained his Medical Degree, cum Laude, in 2009 at the University of Rome – Sapienza; his thesis was focused on the use of Whole-Body CTA to quantify atherosclerotic burden. Subsequently, he trained as a radiologist at the University of Rome – Sapienza, when he completed his specialty training in 2014, discussing a dissertation about MRgFUS of pancreatic cancer, obtaining a cum Laude.
His subspecialty field is neuroradiology with a keen interest in neuro-oncology and neurovascular imaging.
Fulvio is currently working on Sodium and Carbon-13 Imaging as well as on diffusion and other advanced MRI techniques in neuro-oncology.
He is mentored by Dr. Ferdia Gallagher and funded by the CRUK & EPSRC Cancer Imaging Centre in Cambridge & Manchester.
